As has frequently been noted by visitors, Stranger Creek has one of the finest small town cemeteries in Kansas. Having fine marble and limestone quarries nearby is helpful, but moreso the town’s firm conviction that when constructing a monument to one’s loved ones, nothing is too lavish, or excessive.
